The Role
The Regional Director of Group Sales leads the Proactive Group Sales and Group & Event Sales teams across Northern and Southern Italy.
Working closely with the Area Directors of Sales, Sales Managers and hotels leadership teams, this role is responsible for defining and executing the regional Group Sales strategy to maximise revenue, market share and profitability across the region.
Main Responsibilities:
· Lead and develop the Proactive Group Sales and Group & Event Sales teams across Northern and Southern Italy.
· Define and execute the regional Group Sales strategy to achieve commercial objectives.
· Drive new business opportunities while growing existing strategic accounts.
· Oversee the qualification, conversion and management of all Group Sales opportunities.
· Partner with Revenue Management, Marketing, Event Planning and Operations to maximise commercial performance.
· Monitor sales performance, pipeline activity and market trends to drive business growth.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and strategic partners.
· Represent Rocco Forte Hotels at client meetings, trade shows and sales missions.
· Foster a high-performance culture through coaching, people development and succession planning.

· Minimum 5 years' experience in a sales leadership role in luxury hospitality sales environments, preferably within upper luxury hotels, resorts, or travel brands.
· Strong background in both Proactive Group Sales and Reactive Group Sales.
· Proven experience leading high-performing commercial teams.
· Strong commercial mindset with a track record of achieving business results.
· Excellent leadership, stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
· Fluent English and willingness to travel across Italy.

The Role
The Cluster Director of Sales will lead the sales strategy for the properties under responsibility, balancing revenue growth through account management, account development, strategic partnership management and long-term market positioning.
The role requires a dynamic leader with strong emotional intelligence, able to manage senior stakeholder expectations while inspiring and developing high-performing teams. The Cluster Director of Sales will act as a key business partner to Revenue Management, Marketing and Operations, developing and executing cohesive commercial strategies that drive performance, optimize profitability and strengthen client relationships across both properties.
The main duties and responsibilities will be:

Define and execute sales strategies to drive the commercial success of both properties through key account management and account development.

Contribute to long-term business planning, budgeting and forecasting, including the preparation and definition of annual Sales & Marketing plans for the properties under responsibility.

Build strong partnerships with Revenue Management, Marketing and Operations to align strategies and achieve commercial objectives.

Partner closely with Revenue Management to optimize pricing, segmentation and channel mix for sustained growth.

Ensure visibility and awareness across all key markets, working closely with Global Sales Office teams to develop relationships and maximize opportunities.

Use data-driven insights and market intelligence to anticipate market shifts, identify opportunities and mitigate risks.

Lead and develop the Sales team, driving performance against agreed targets and fostering collaboration across functions.

Work closely with Groups & Events Sales teams to drive business development, increase enquiry volumes and conversion, and achieve Groups & Events targets.

Represent the properties at key domestic and international trade shows, workshops, roadshows and sales activities.
What are we looking for?

Proven experience in a senior Sales leadership role within luxury hospitality.

Over five years of experience in the North American market, with in-depth knowledge of luxury consortia and established industry connections in the U.S.

Strong experience in key account management, account development and strategic sales planning.

Proven leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams.

Strong commercial acumen, analytical capabilities and market awareness.

Fluent in English and Italian.

Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.

The Role
The Director of Sales ? Verdura Resort will lead the sales strategy for the property, driving revenue growth through key account management, business development, strategic partnerships, and long-term market positioning.
Working closely with the General Manager and functionally reporting to the Area Director of Sales, Southern Italy, the role will lead and develop the sales team while partnering with Revenue Management, Marketing, and Operations to maximize commercial performance and profitability.
The Director of Sales will also oversee the Golf segment and the Golf Sales Manager, ensuring the development of this strategic business segment and its alignment with the overall sales strategy of Verdura Resort.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
? Define and execute the sales strategy for Verdura Resort, driving revenue growth through key account management, account development, and new business opportunities.
? Develop and strengthen relationships across key luxury leisure, corporate, groups and strategic markets, with particular focus on the North American market and luxury consortia.
? Contribute to annual business planning, budgeting and forecasting, including the development of the Sales & Marketing Plan for Verdura Resort.
? Partner closely with Revenue Management, Marketing and Operations to optimize pricing, segmentation, channel mix and overall commercial performance.
? Work closely with Global Sales Offices to increase awareness, develop key accounts and maximize business opportunities across strategic international markets.
? Monitor market trends, competitive activity and hotel performance, identifying new opportunities and implementing corrective actions where required.
