The Role
The Cluster Director of Sales will lead the sales strategy for the properties under responsibility, balancing revenue growth through account management, account development, strategic partnership management and long-term market positioning.
The role requires a dynamic leader with strong emotional intelligence, able to manage senior stakeholder expectations while inspiring and developing high-performing teams. The Cluster Director of Sales will act as a key business partner to Revenue Management, Marketing and Operations, developing and executing cohesive commercial strategies that drive performance, optimize profitability and strengthen client relationships across both properties.
The main duties and responsibilities will be:
Define and execute sales strategies to drive the commercial success of both properties through key account management and account development.
Contribute to long-term business planning, budgeting and forecasting, including the preparation and definition of annual Sales & Marketing plans for the properties under responsibility.
Build strong partnerships with Revenue Management, Marketing and Operations to align strategies and achieve commercial objectives.
Partner closely with Revenue Management to optimize pricing, segmentation and channel mix for sustained growth.
Ensure visibility and awareness across all key markets, working closely with Global Sales Office teams to develop relationships and maximize opportunities.
Use data-driven insights and market intelligence to anticipate market shifts, identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
Lead and develop the Sales team, driving performance against agreed targets and fostering collaboration across functions.
Work closely with Groups & Events Sales teams to drive business development, increase enquiry volumes and conversion, and achieve Groups & Events targets.
Represent the properties at key domestic and international trade shows, workshops, roadshows and sales activities.

Proven experience in a senior Sales leadership role within luxury hospitality.
Over five years of experience in the North American market, with in-depth knowledge of luxury consortia and established industry connections in the

Di cosa ti occuperai?
In quanto Director of Sales & Marketing guiderai la strategia di vendita dell'Hotel, attraverso la gestione dei clienti (account management), il posizionamento del brand e la presenza sul mercato. Lavorerai in stretta collaborazione con i team proactive per supportare ogni fase del "ciclo di vita delle richieste" (enquiry life cycle), se e quando richiesto. Nello specifico ti occuperai di:
• Definire ed mettere in atto le strategie di vendita per guidare il successo commerciale dell'hotel attraverso la gestione e lo sviluppo dei key client (key account management e account development);
• Coltivare, mantenere e sfruttare solide relazioni con key client, account aziendali e partner del settore per supportare lo sviluppo del business a lungo termine;
• Gestire le vendite e delle trattative;
• Responsabilità generale dei processi di vendita all'interno dell' "Enquiry Life Cycle", dal contatto iniziale (lead) al passaggio di consegne al team Event Services, incluso il follow-up post-evento;
• Monitorare le performance dell'hotel e proporre azioni correttive quando necessario, in collaborazione con il Revenue Management e il General Manager;
• Collaborare con il team Event Services per garantire lo svolgimento dei meeting settimanali di passaggio consegne dei lead confermati per gruppi con pernottamento (residential) e solo camere (room only);
• Mantenere una pipeline solida per raggiungere il budget della struttura.
• Svolgere tutta la formazione relativa al ruolo: vendita, negoziazione, site inspection e formazione
sul revenue;
• Guidare lo sviluppo di mercati nuovi e potenziali;
• Lavorare in continua collaborazione con il team Group and Event Sales per garantire la conversione e la gestione del segmento gruppi;
• Dimostrare una forte intelligenza emotiva gestendo efficacemente team diversificati, affrontando le sfide e supportando la crescita personale e professionale;
• Promuovere iniziative di sviluppo commerciale per garantire che i volumi delle richieste rimangano elevati e continuino a crescere;
• Favorire la cooperazione all'interno del team e con gli altri reparti per offrire un'eccellenza nel servizio;
• Guidare il team S&M al raggiungimento dei target e degli obiettivi concordati con la Direzione.

Quali requisiti cerchiamo?
• Minimo 7-10 anni di esperienza commerciale nel settore dell'ospitalità; il settore del lusso costituisce un plus;
• Eccellente comunicazione verbale e scritta;
• Ottima conoscenza della lingua italiana e inglese a livello parlato e scritto;
• Eccellenti capacità di problem solving e spiccate doti analitiche;
• Forti doti di leadership e negoziazione;
• Esperienza nella gestione dei budget e nella pianificazione finanziaria strategica;
• Ottima padronanza degli strumenti informatici.
