The successful candidate will supervise and inspire the teams across: Front Office Concierge Guest Relations Porters Doormen Courtesy Car operations You will be responsible for creating a culture of excellence, ensuring the highest standards of service, presentation and efficiency, while driving guest satisfaction, team engagement and operational performance. What will you do? - Lead, manage and develop all Front of House departments, ensuring a consistently exceptional guest experience. - Oversee daily operations across Front Office, Concierge and Guest Relations, ensuring service is intuitive, efficient and personalised. - Supervise the Porters, Doormen and Courtesy Car teams, ensuring a polished and professional arrival and departure experience. - Act as a visible and inspiring leader in the lobby and public areas, setting the tone for luxury hospitality at every moment. - Ensure smooth communication and collaboration with Housekeeping, F&B, Engineering, Security and all operational departments. - Drive service excellence through coaching, training and performance management. - Handle guest feedback, special requests and service recovery with confidence, empathy and discretion. - Monitor departmental procedures, standards and compliance, ensuring flawless execution and attention to detail. - Support budgeting, scheduling, workforce planning and productivity across the Front of House function. - Champion the hotel's luxury positioning and contribute to delivering the distinctive Anantara guest experience. JOB SUMMARY The Westin Excelsior Rome is currently looking for a Security Manager ? Loss Prevention.  Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Security Manager manages the daily functions of the security/loss prevention department and focuses on ensuring guest and associate satisfaction while achieving the operating budget and maximizing the financial performance of the department. The role will be responsible for the protection and safety of property assets, employees, guests and property, accident and fire prevention and response. CORE ACTIVITIES   Managing Security/Loss Prevention Operations - Assists the Chief Engineer in administering fire prevention programs and emergency preparedness. - Follow proper key control guidelines in loss prevention and in the property. - Conducts hazard and risk assessments at the property to include quarterly OSHA/SAFETY audits, incident tracking, and the hazard abatement process. - Develops detailed "shut down" procedures for the property to ensure that all areas are secured at the appropriate times. - Develops and implements emergency procedures. - Comply with applicable federal, state and local law and safety regulations and implement's local authority requirements - Develop a monthly checklist for all cctv equipment, alarmed doors, and duress alarms to ensure that they are fully functional. - Incorporate into patrols, which encompass all areas of the property's interior and exterior, an inspection tour of recording system. - Maintains required reports and documentation regarding patrols of property and parking areas. - Follow Duty of Care process for the protection of guests and associates. - Follows up on all unusual activities in and around the property that would impair the wellbeing of guests and associates. - Handles guest problems and complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts, or otherwise negotiating with others. - Implements action plans to monitor and control risk. - Oversees all loss prevention operations to include but not limited to patrol process, emergency response, investigations (initial & follow up) for all guest and associate related incidents, shipping and receiving process (makes recommendations for improvement), electronic key system and manager on duties responsibilities. - Oversees and guides the efforts of the Accident Prevention Committee. - Oversees first aid program for guests and associates. - Oversees the claims process and protects company assets by closely monitoring the General Liability and Worker's Compensation cases. - Conducts investigation of all losses of property assets and refers to proper management for disposition. - Recommends follow-up action for security breaches. - Deploys security staff to effectively monitor and protect property assets. - Comply with all Corporate Security safety and security management guidelines and procedures. - Completes proper documentation and reports all employee accident and general liability incidents to Claims Reporting Service. - Recognize success across areas of responsibility. - Identifies and makes recommendations for minimizing physical hazards and unsafe work practices. - Provides means for obtaining necessary medical attention on a timely basis. - Conducts hourly employee performance appraisals according to Standard Operating Procedures. - Identifies the educational needs of others, developing formal educational or training programs or classes, and teaching or instructing others. - Complete disciplinary procedures and documentation according to Standard and Local Operating Procedures (SOPs and LSOPs) and support the Peer Review Process. - Maintain first aid and CPR certifications required for Security officers.
