| Per azienda cliente, storico brand del lusso con sede a Firenze siamo attualmente alla ricerca di una figura di Operations Manager Responsabilità The Operations Manager owns entire operational value chain and drives it forward. The remit spans product industrialisation, production, industrial purchasing, supplier development, supply chain, logistics and operational systems, across all categories, with leather goods at the core. It is a hands-on role, spent largely with suppliers, manufacturing partners and warehouses, with a mandate to simplify and modernise how the brand makes and delivers its products. It suits a driven, hungry, direct operator with the curiosity and creativity to take the brand further, not to administer the status quo. Key Responsibilities Product Development & Industrialisation Industrialise new products with the creative and product teams: prototyping, sampling, technical development and bills of materials, from concept to production-ready. Ensure new collections are executable in quality, cost and lead time before they enter production. Production Lead production across all categories: leather goods first, plus stationery, writing instruments and lifestyle accessories. Coordinate the external / façon manufacturing network to the highest standards of quality, timing and execution. Balance priorities across collections and continuously improve industrial performance. Industrial Purchasing & Supplier Development Lead industrial purchasing and negotiate commercial terms. Identify, qualify and develop new manufacturing partners, prioritising the leather supply base, and build long-term relationships with key suppliers. Own product cost and industrial margin, and monitor supplier performance on quality, service, delivery, capacity and cost. Build a resilient manufacturing network able to support growth. Supply Chain, Logistics & Inventory Oversee the flow from raw materials to finished-product delivery, including inbound and outbound logistics and any third-party partners. Ensure inventory accuracy and product availability, and improve warehouse and logistics performance. Strengthen leather and material traceability and compliance, including readiness for emerging EU product-passport requirements. Operational Processes, ERP & Data Own and continuously improve processes across product development, production, purchasing and logistics, simplifying, standardising and digitalising ways of working. Ensure the ERP genuinely supports operations; coordinate external ERP consultants and implementation partners. Build the KPIs and dashboards: lead time, on-time-in-full, inventory turns, quality, cost, that drive decisions, and safeguard data accuracy. People & Team Leadership Lead, coach and develop the operations team; identify and empower talent. Set priorities, ensure deadlines are met and company standards upheld. Foster a collaborative, direct and accountable culture, resolving issues promptly. Focus. Leather goods and small leather goods are the operational core and the primary background required. The role also covers stationery, writing instruments and lifestyle accessories. Profilo Who You Are Driven and hungry, with the ambition and creativity to push the brand to its next level: an owner and a builder, not a caretaker. Curious and direct: you say what you think, challenge the status quo and make things happen. A hands-on operations professional with a strong background in leather goods manufacturing in the luxury industry, typically 8?10+ years, though drive, trajectory and end-to-end ownership count as much as years served. Experienced in managing outsourced / façon manufacturing networks and supplier relationships, with proven people-management ability. Comfortable negotiating with suppliers and making commercial decisions. Understand how operational processes and ERP systems work together to run an efficient organisation. Genuinely enjoy the factory floor, supplier visits and solving problems firsthand, combining analytical rigour with a roll-up-your-sleeves approach. Fluent Italian (essential for the Tuscan supplier network) and a good command of English. Gross annual salary (RAL) range 85.000€ - 95.000€ , plus company car. Livello: Quadro CCNL Commercio Annual performance bonus (MBO) of up to 10% , #LI-YP1 «I candidati, nel rispetto del D.lgs. 198/2006, D.lgs. 215/2003 e D.lgs. |
