About the role Four Seasons Hotel Firenze is currently looking for an Accounting Manager to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Finance, you will play a key role in ensuring the integrity of financial operations, supporting business performance, and maintaining compliance with local and international accounting standards. What you will do - Support the Assistant Finance Director in the day-to-day management of financial and accounting operations. - Oversee General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes. - Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings. - Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and international accounting standards (USALI). - Monitor and analyse key financial KPIs, including RevPAR, GOP, EBITDA, and cost control indicators. - Support the preparation of the annual budget and periodic forecasts. - Analyse variances between budgeted and actual results and propose corrective actions. - Collaborate with Department Heads to monitor and control operating costs. - Supervise the financial aspects of contracts and coordinate with the Legal Department on contractual matters, compliance, and risk assessment. - Manage internal and external audits, ensuring full compliance with company policies and regulations. - Oversee cash management and treasury cash flows. - Ensure the implementation of internal control procedures and fraud prevention measures. - Train, coordinate, and support members of the Finance team. What you bring - Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline. - 3?5 years of experience in a similar accounting or finance leadership role, ideally within hospitality. Previous experience in Hotel finance and/or a structured business environment is a strong asset. - Strong knowledge of accounting principles, Italian GAAP (OIC), statutory requirements, and USALI standards. - Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or hospitality finance platforms. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail. - Proven ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and lead high-performing teams. - Fluent in English and Italian, both written and spoken. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Finance, you will will support the accurate and timely management of key accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cashiering activities, ensuring full compliance with local regulations and Four Seasons corporate policies and procedures.
